PAUL FAIR
Founder | CEO
Paul is a 12+ year sports industry professional and accomplished director having worked with leading brands including IMG and WWE. Experienced in athlete performance, program launches, consulting and athlete enhancement; Paul thrives on being a resource to athletes and playing a role in their development on and off the field.
Paul earned his undergraduate degree in Sports Management & Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also has a Masters degree from Duquesne University in Sports Management & Leadership. Following his first year of college football, Paul discovered a passion for rugby, and played at the club level both locally and nationally for four years.
Paul grew up in western Pennsylvania and was a three-sport standout in high school, earning All-State honors and playing a role in multiple regional and district championships. His wife, Lauren, is a nonprofit Director. They have two children, Violette and Ford, as well as, two dogs. Paul and Lauren enjoy the outdoors, attending sporting events, and traveling. They are excited to be back living in Western PA and look forward to giving back to the local community that they've always called home.
ERIC GALKO
CFO
Eric is an experienced consultant and executive in the sports industry, working with professional teams and sports leagues for 10+ years. Working with athletes at the high school, college, and pro level, Eric values the ability to provide experience, perspective, and a network of resources at every level of sport.
Eric earned his undergraduate degree in Finance and Economics from Delaware University. He also has a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law. During his time in school, he founded Optimum Scouting, his consulting firm that works with clients across the sports industry spectrum.
Eric grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania, playing basketball and football in high school. He began working in the industry during college, through law school, and into his professional career. He works with some of the biggest sports agencies, professional teams and leagues, and start-up companies in the sports industry. Most recently, he was an executive with the XFL, overseeing the league and each team’s player personnel and performance. Eric is excited to share GRIT’s vision, resources, and network with youth, high school and college athletes to help them reach their athletic and personal goals.
